Ram Charan is doing a film with Shankar and his fans are super kicked about it. But when the news has come out that RC15‘s story has been written by director Karthik Subbaraj, they have started panicking.
Karthik Subbaraj is a talented director but he is in bad form and has not given a proper hit in recent times. Also, Karthik Subbaraj’s latest release, Mahaan is out on Amazon on Prime skipping theaters but getting negative reviews.
He even failed to deliver a proper one time decent watch for home viewing. His last film was also a direct to OTT release (Jagame Thandhiram) has got disaster talk as well when it had released on Netflix directly.
If this was not enough, director Shankar is also on the verge of a downfall as his films have not been gripping as they used to be. Shankar has given some biggest hits like Indian, Anniyan, Mudhalvan, Boys, and Sivaji as their stories and dialogues were written by Sujatha.
Sujatha worked until the making of Enthiran and passed away. Since then, Shankar is struggling to score a massive blockbuster to date. None of his recent films had the grip in writing or the hard-hitting dialogues which his films are known for.
In such a time, he taking a story from Karthik Subbaraj and adding his own screenplay and dialogues has become a worry for fans. Will Shankar pull off a solid film using Karthik’s story and screenplay? Only time will answer.
