Now it could perhaps be argued that Tollywood could be finding a counterpart for Pradeep Ranganathan in the form of Mouli.
Mouli had a super successful debut with Little Hearts, which turned out to be one of the big and surprising hits in recent times. The film collected multiple times more than its original investment, and Mouli established himself successfully with the same.
The transition from social media influencer to a film face was rather smooth for him. It might not have been a big ₹100 crore grosser but it’s a pretty solid success nevertheless.
The better thing for Mouli is that many people are rooting for his success as his content in the Telugu social media space is very popular with the current generation youth. He is very famous for his clean yet very entertaining comedy.
Pradeep Ranganathan is in a league of his own with multiple blockbusters to his name, and there is this vacuum in the Telugu cinema space as well for a similar position. If Mouli can grab the youth audience pulse and maintain the consistency of PR(Pradeep Ranganathan), then there’s a very good prospect to be had here.
