The theatrical trailer for Karthikeya 2 is out now. The trailer is loaded with high octane shots that highlight the characterisation of the protagonist, Nikhil.
The trailer starts off with the establishment of the main premise as the protagonist sets out on a mission to visit Dwaraka and get the Darshan of Lord Krishna.
But his journey is laced with multiple hardships by an evil man. What follows later is the hero’s tale of triumph. The basic plot is clearly demonstrated in the trailer.
The visual composition in the trailer is of top quality. The action shots and the wide angle visuals look very good to the eye. The locations and the digital enhancement is impressive.
Trance-like BGM has been used and it has a fresh vibe. But it isn’t entirely in sync with the narrative.
Nikhil says he has the habit of unravelling mysteries and that gives an idea of his characterisation. The film essentially runs on the aspect of history vs mystery.
Anupama Parameswaran, Anupam Kher, Aditya, and others are seen in important roles in the film.
Karthikeya 2 is slated for release on the 13th of August. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and it is produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Peoples Media Factory.
