The producer of the film Madhu Murali was apprehensive to cast Srikanth in the cop role. He opined that Srikanth doesn’t fit the role and even offered Rs.2 crore extra if the director Krishna Vamsi wants to go with another hero. All these discussions happened when Srikanth was sitting beside him.
But director Krishna Vamsi was adamant to have the only Srikanth for the role. He even went to the extent of changing the producer for the sake of Srikanth. Finally, Madhu Murali had to give in and accept Srikanth to play the powerful role that brought immense appreciation for the actor.
