A new chapter begins for Kiran Abbavaram. Known for his steady rise as one of Telugu cinema’s bankable young stars, the actor is now pushing his creative boundaries with a project that reflects both ambition and confidence. Riding the wave of success generated by Ka and K-Ramp, Kiran Abbavaram has chosen to take complete ownership of his next film by conceiving the story, developing the screenplay, directing it, and headlining it.
The announcement poster of #KA13 paints a visually arresting picture. Kiran Abbavaram appears in a rugged rural look, standing before enormous cooking pot that symbolize celebration, tradition, and community spirit. The authentic setup suggest a film firmly rooted in local flavor while carrying a strong mass appeal. “Ichataa anni rakaala entertainment Vandabadunu,” reads the statement.
The untitled entertainer is being produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under the Joy Films banner. Widely recognized for his success in overseas distribution, Chaganti now ventures into film production for the first time. Suresh Yerra is associated with the project as co-producer.
The production commenced today in Hyderabad following a traditional launch ceremony. The principal cast joined the shoot.
Set against a large-scale backdrop, the film is being mounted with the highest budget ever allocated to a Kiran Abbavaram starrer. The cast features debutante Devika Bhat as the female lead, while Sharat Kumar and Sai Kumar bring additional weight to the narrative through crucial roles.
The film combines youthful charm, family-centric emotions, and mainstream entertainment ingredients, creating a package designed for a broad theatrical audience.
The technical department includes cinematographer Viswas Daniel, composer Bheems Ceciroleo, production designer Sudheer Macharla, and editor Santhosh Naidu.
