After having recovered from the Acharya disaster, Koratala Siva was able to make a brief comeback with Devara. This might not be a perfect film, but it certainly brought back the sheen to Koratala as a director.
However, despite the success of this film, Koratala is in no position to get another Hero for his upcoming project. He is confined to working on the sequel for Devara which no one knows when it will happen.

The tentative plan that was communicated by Kalyan Ram is that NTR is likely to work on this sequel once he is done with his ongoing film with Prashanth Neel. But this decision is obviously subject to change based on the preferences of NTR at a later point.
The only option left for Koratala Siva now is to wait for NTR to turn available so that he can start the sequel’s shooting. While the timeline is largely variable, we have to see if he would be able to work something out quickly.

With all other stars, like Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and others occupied with other films, the choices are strictly limited for Koratala in the elite segment.
Waiting for NTR to turn available is the only viable option for him in terms of working with a star hero. But if he decides to tone down a bit and prepare himself to work with any other younger actor from the current generation then this is a possibility as well.
