Last Project As Director For VV Vinayak

VV VinayakVV Vinayak was one of the most sought-after directors in Tollywood in the 2000s. He delivered big blockbusters like Aadi, Dil, Tagore, and Adurs. But for the last many years, he has been out of form as he lost his Midas touch.

Now he is trying his luck in Bollywood. He is directing Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the remake of SS Rajamouli’s Chatrapathi, which is releasing this week.

In Tollywood, Vinayak has stopped directing films. He tried to become a hero a few years ago, but that project got stalled. Now he is not even trying to bag projects to direct and is comfortable in his retired space. But in case Chiranjeevi decides to act in a remake, he would definitely have Vinayak in his mind as one of the choices as the director due to his loyalty to Chiru.

But if the Chatrapathi remake goes wrong when it releases this week, then his chances of directing Chiranjeevi might get hurt, and Chatrapathi might become his last film as a director. There are reports that VV Vinayak has signed one more project in Hindi, but that can be just a rumor to hype the Chatrapathi remake.
