The wounds slit open by Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Liger are yet to fully heal. Here’s the latest development on the same which has left netizens amused.
The exhibitors who were associated with Liger have now started a relay hunger strike at the Tollywood film chamber.
The exhibitors who operate in the Nizam region started the hunger strike, saying they lost big money due to the film.
“The producer, Puri Jagannadh, and the distributor promised to help us out. It’s been six months but we are yet to get even a single rupee from them. We want justice immediately” the exhibitors said.
The exhibitors are saying that the distributor has vacated his office and is nowhere to be seen. They complain that Puri Jagannadh is also not picking their phone calls.
This comes just days before the prospective announcement of Puri Jagannadh’s next project with Ram Pothineni. Puri is yet to respond on the hunger strike or the demands from the exhibitors.
