Has Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa postponed to summer? This is the latest talk doing the rounds in the Kollywood circles. Lingaa is an out and out commercial film after a long time from Rajini and is directed by KS Ravikumar. With no real big budget and being a regular commercial venture many expected the film to arrive on time when the makers announced its release date for the star’s birthday in December later in the year.
But now sources suggest there could be a delay in the release and the film could hit instead on Tamil New Year day in April. The reason for the delay is still not clear. Shooting of the film has so far happened smoothly with no delay anywhere. Therefore this talk of postponement comes as a surprise to many. We still need an official confirmation from the unit of the film though. Rockline Venkatesh who made Power with Ravi Teja is producing this film as well.
