Komaram Puli was among the biggest disasters of hero Pawan Kalyan when it released five years ago. But even that film had a record till now which seems to be finally broken.

It is with respect to the audio rights of the film as one might have guessed. Back then the audio market of Telugu was a thriving one and huge amounts were paid to get the audio rights. Pawan Kalyan expectedly was leading this segment with top audio hits and it reached a peak with Puli where the star has music provided by another star like AR Rahman. It was sold back then for an astronomical price of 2 Cr.
Now almost half a decade later that record is being broken by Baahubali which apparently has been lapped up for 3 Cr. This includes the Tamil audio rights too which means it’s dicey if one looks at single Telugu audio. However as a whole or individually no Telugu film has got such crazy amounts for audio rights in recent past which makes this a massive achievement.
