Samantha Ruth Prabhu has entered her second marriage by tying the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1. The couple performed a traditional Bhootha Shuddhi ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi premises near the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. Samantha later shared the wedding photos on Instagram and officially confirmed the marriage. Many celebrities congratulated her. A section of social media reacted harshly with trolls and personal attacks.
Some accused her of breaking homes and questioned her choices in insensitive ways. What started as casual negativity soon turned into organized trolling. In the middle of this, actress Madhavi Latha posted a detailed video on Instagram defending Samantha and questioning the hostility.
In her video, Madhavi Latha asked why people were behaving as if Samantha’s marriage had destroyed their lives. She pointed out the hypocrisy of individuals who troll others while having complicated or questionable relationships in their own personal lives. She said why are these people crying as if they haven’t broken any families in their lives. She reminded them that many people who attack celebrities online are far from morally perfect.
However, her tone sparked mixed reactions. While she defended Samantha from harsh trolling, she also appeared to indirectly blame Samantha for breaking a family. She later questioned why people were acting hurt. Many viewers felt she was delivering a dual message. They felt she was defending Samantha on one side while subtly criticizing her on the other.
