Celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam is already fleshing out the details of his next project. This upcoming film is going to be a Tamil revenge drama, although no name has been decided yet for the film. The shooting is expected to begin this December with Ravi Varman as the cinematographer and AR Rahman as the musician.

Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam was so impressed with the sound output in his last film OK Kanmani which was shot in sync sound, he has decided on doing the same for his upcoming film. Sync sound is done live on locations as it lets filmmakers record sound during the filming of the scenes itself. It is therefore no wonder that the famed director is looking for actors that are fluent in Tamil for his new film.
This is one of the reasons why Keerthi Suresh was cast in the film although the director is still looking for a second heroine.
