Allari Naresh is keenly awaiting the release of Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam which is his second straight content driven film after Naandhi. As the film heads for release on the 25th of November, Allari Naresh interacted with media and here’s what he had to say.

“Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is an honest film. There is a talk that this film is a remake of Newton. But I can assure that this is not a remake. I have watched Newton and this film is no way connected to it.”
When asked if the film is a satire on the government for seeing tribal people as mere voters and not even as humans. He says the film is a take on lazy government officials who don’t take electioneering in tribal areas as seriously as they should.

About Krishna’s passing away, Naresh said he wishes strength to Mahesh. “I too lost my father EVV garu and it was tough. They might be superstars but they’re fathers first. I hope those around Mahesh stand by him in this tough time. As for acting in Maharshi, I enjoyed working with Mahesh.”
About Maredumilli, Naresh said the film will indeed have a light dose of comedy and it will not bore the audience with hardcore message. It will touch an important point and also be engaging. He confirmed it is not an art film. He expressed his confidence in the film and said he feels it will click commercially and also educate the audience to an extent.
