In the industry today some producers don’t mind spending lavishly to show a rich product, in the end. There are also many producers who act miserly and end up affecting the film in the process. Here is a case where a miser producer benefitted the movie.

The producer is NV Prasad, and the film is Ram Charan starrer Dhruva. For the movie, director Surender Reddy initially wanted to cast Rajasekhar in the antagonist role. It was the producer NV Prasad who convinced him against it. The reason was actually to save the budget.
NV Prasad said that it is better to go with Aravind Swami for the remake as well. The reason was that there were several solo shots involving the actor which could be used as it is without the shoot. It meant saving big bucks for the producer, and that’s why he gave that suggestion. It proved to be right decision eventually as Rajasekhar would have had a hard time matching Aravind Swami.
