After a long gap Akkineni Nagarjuna had a festival release for Sankranthi this year in the form of Soggade Chinni Nayana. He stuck to the date despite heavy competition and is now reaping rewards for it.

Now that he has tasted blood the star looks like is in no mood to relent. He has made a swift move and locked the release date of his upcoming film Oopiri. The film will be arriving on March 25 on Good Friday holiday. This is clearly smart move one must say, as it gets twin advantage of being a holiday release along with being follow-up film of Soggade Chinni Nayana.
Oopiri is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and it also features Karthi along with Nagarjuna. Tamannah acts as heroine in the film which is produced on PVP Cinemas banner.
