One of the talented film makers in South Indian cinema is Nelson DilipKumar, who has his own style of dark comedy film making. Despite being a talented filmmaker, he is often getting around by top heroes.
One day, we hear that is going to direct the next collaboration of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and this falls through. Then he was briefly in talks with Sivakarthikeyan again for another collaboration after Doctor.
And there are multiple discussions happening in Telugu space as well, considering that there have been speculations about Nelson impressing NTR with the script idea and a potential collaboration happening. At the end, this did not materialize either.
Now it is reported that another Tamil actor Surya is in front line to collaborate with Nelson at this point in time. This might not be a bad idea, considering that Surya is one of the versatile actors and can make dark comedies work.
For now, will be fully committed to the release of Jailer 2 with Rajinikanth and he could be finalising his next project only after the completion of the same.
It might not be the worst idea for Tarak to finalise the project with Nelson, considering his refined film making skills. It must be a new experience for NTR also to do a dark comedy for the first time in his career.
