Mythri Movie Makers is one of the elite league production houses in Tollywood and they have a lot going their way, particularly after recent biggie Pushpa 2 which grossed over Rs 1700 crores.
However, this leading production house appears to have committed one major blunder, and it has something to do with wasting this Sankranti season.

Earlier this month, Mythri had a big release in the form of Pushpa 2. Originally, they were supposed to follow it up with Robin Hood which has Nithiin in the lead role.
Robin Hood was initially announced for release on the 25th of this month, marking the occasion of Christmas. However, the production house had external calculations on this and eventually postponed the film to a later date.

This postponement turned out to be a major blunder as Mythri and Nithiin missed out on a lucrative Christmas season.
Pushpa 2 is nearly done with the theatrical run in the Telugu states and on top of that, none of the new releases could pull the audience to the theatres during the Christmas festival season.

As a result, the usually lucrative Christmas season went in waste. Had Mythri actually released Robin Hood on 25 December, they could’ve easily capitalised on the vacuum as Telugu audience had no new options.
To make matters worse now, Robin Hood has no vacant slot to fill in through the first half of 2025. The Sankranthi season, Sivarathri, and Ugadi seasons are locked up with prior occupants.
In the end, it turned out to be that Robin Hood had already lost the promising Sankranthi slot and now has to scurry for a second-rate release slot in 2025.
