Coming to NTR’s ‘Temper’, first day collections wise the Nandamuri hero overthrew his own movie ‘Badshah’ from third position and placed ‘Temper’ in the slot. After Pawan’s Aatharintiki Daaredi (Rs.10.75 crores) and Mahesh’s Aagadu (Rs.9.74 cr), Temper’ stood in the 3rd highest first day collections with Rs. 9.68 crores.
Coming to overseas collections, Tarak’s ‘Temper’ has even defied the pan-Indian actors film like Hindi film ‘Roy’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline and Arjun Ramphal besides Dhanush’s ‘Anegan’ in overseas collections statistics. Overseas ‘Temper’ is running with hit talk and the 2 days collections ($476K) also reveal the same.
While Dhanush movie is running with below average talk collecting $43K in 2 days and ‘Roy’ also following the same with $58K for two days, these revenues are nowhere comparable to ‘Temper’s success emerging as the first superhit movie of 2015 in overseas. Considering the moderately priced tickets, NTR’s movie is really doing well in overseas. 5
