Post the phenomenal global success of RRR, NTR fans weren’t too happy that NTR was taking a lot of time to start his next project. They were envious of the fact that Ram Charan already started shooting for Shankar’s Game Changer and also finalized Buchi Babu Sana’s next film.
NTR, on the other hand, was waiting for Koratala Siva to sort out all the financial hassles caused due to Acharya’s fiasco and start working on their next film, now titled Devara. It took Koratala many months to come out of the mess and start shooting for Devara.
By that time, there were reports that Ram Charan had already completed 30-40% of Game Changer’s shooting part. Charan fans were rejoicing that their star had moved ahead with better planning than NTR. But now, the scenario has reversed completely.
The shooting of Devara, which started in April, is moving at a brisk pace. NTR and Koratala Siva are putting their best efforts into delivering a never-before-action spectacle. Acclaimed technicians from Hollywood have been signed to design the action scenes and supervise the visual effects. The film is announced to release on 5th April 2024.
On the contrary, Game Changer is turning out to be the most-delayed project in Charan’s career. The film’s shooting started in 2022, but it faced multiple delays due to Shankar’s commitment to complete Indian 2 first. Recently, some frustrated Ram Charan fans expressed their anger also through negative trends on social media targeting Dil Raju and Shankar.
Game Changer was poised to release for Sankranthi 2024, but the latest reports suggest that the film has been pushed to summer. But with the kind of delays the film is suffering, it won’t be a surprise if Devara releases first and then Game Changer.
This is the perfect case of tables getting turned!
