There is a change in plans for the eagerly awaited biopic NTR starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the title role. For the past few days, there was a buzz that it could be turned into two parts, and now that looks a done deal.

So, the official announcement that has been made today is a new title. The part 1 of the NTR biopic is named as Kathanayakudu, and it will mostly focus on the ‘acting’ part of the legend Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. It will hit screens on January 9th, 2019.
The second part then naturally will focus on the political journey. The current title and date that are in speculation are Prajanayakudu and a Republic day release for the same. Is the two-part idea right or wrong? Fans have mixed opinion. For the makers, business-wise the two-part move seems to make sense, but when seen from the fans perspective the whole thing looks disappointing. The first part entirely focussing on “acting” only would be a needless stretch, many feels.
It also means the second part focusing on politics will have Rana at the heart that many feared. It could deviate the entire mood and stretching an already known singular set of events to satisfy the whims and fancies of individuals may not be an ideal recipe for a classic blockbuster on legend NTR is what many Nandamuri fans opine. They do have a point, let us see what the makers have in store for us.
