Afraid Of Trolls, Director Locks Account After OTT Premiere

Afraid Of Trolls, Director Locks Account After OTT PremiereDirector Sarath Mandava was very confident about his film, Ramarao On Duty, before the film’s release. He even asked the audience to watch the film without considering the online talk and passed ‘Twitter Pittalu Vese Rottelu’ comments during the pre-release event of the film. He also spoke ill about websites and their ratings.

Soon after the film was released in the last week of July, Sarath Mandava was seen nowhere in the media or on social media platforms. After watching the film, not just the critics but the normal audience also lashed out at the director for making a Dabba film.

Now, Ramarao On Duty has been released on the OTT platform, SonyLIV on September 15th. But Sarath seems to be so scared of trolling that he has locked his account on Twitter and switched off the replies. He has made his account private because of the fear of negativity from the digital audience after watching his ‘epic entertainer’ on the OTT platform.

Sarath should have kept his account open for replies so that people would have let him know the mistakes he had made while making Ramarao On Duty. It would have been a wake-up call to him so that he might be more careful while making his next venture.
