The promotional campaign for Rākāsā continues to build with the release of its second single, “Padhe Padhe,” a soothing romantic number that adds a calmer emotional shade to the film’s soundtrack. Written and directed by Manasa Sharma, the film is produced by Niharika Konidela under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Zee Studios.
Unlike the lively energy of the film’s first single, “Padhe Padhe” moves through a more intimate musical space. Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada captures the gentle uncertainty of emerging affection, where feelings appear through quiet moments rather than dramatic declarations. Composer Anudeep Dev shapes the melody with a light contemporary rhythm, while the subtle presence of the veena lends the composition a graceful tonal color. The arrangement remains smooth and unhurried, allowing the melody to breathe. Singer Sindhuja Srinivasan anchors the track with a delicate vocal performance that carries warmth without overpowering the song’s understated emotional tone.
The arrival of “Padhe Padhe” comes as Rākāsā continues to generate encouraging digital engagement through its early promotional material. The film’s title glimpse has crossed 1.9 million views, while the teaser followed with notable traction online, surpassing 2.8 million views. The first single “Rapappa” also received a strong response, crossing 1.1 million views on YouTube and establishing the soundtrack’s playful opening note.
Beyond the domestic market, the film’s international rollout is also taking shape. Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures will handle the overseas distribution across more than 350 theatres in major territories including the USA, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada and Australia. Distribution across North America will be managed by Prathyangira Cinemas, while the soundtrack is being released under the established Saregama music label.
Rākāsā features Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles, alongside Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi and Getup Srinu. As its soundtrack continues to reveal different musical shades and the promotional material gathers increasing attention online, the film is steadily building anticipation ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026.
