Hero Sumanth’s most ambitious film Mahendragiri Varahi is getting ready for release. The makers today, officially confirmed that the devotional thriller will be gracing the cinemas on September 11th.
Sumanth said the movie has been in the making for over two-and-a-half years, with delays caused by the need for substantial financial backing. According to him, the scale of the story demanded a bigger investment, and the team chose to wait until they found producers willing to support that vision.
Sumanth said audiences have only seen a small glimpse through the teaser, promising that the film is packed with shocking twists, thrilling moments, and visually rich sequences. He praised director Santhossh Jagarlapudi for his exceptional knowledge of mythology and history.
Producer Madhu disclosed that a well-known star hero plays an important extended cameo, with the reveal planned for the trailer. He further said the film boasts grand sets, beautiful locations, 56 minutes of VFX, and is being prepared for release in all major Pan-India languages.
Director Santossh Jagarlapudi reaffirmed that the film blends devotion with suspense, calling it a devotional thriller. He said the team is working hard to ensure every promotional update raises expectations further. He also underlined the importance of Aishwarya Rajesh’s role as Goddess Varahi and revealed that the makers are planning to invite Pawan Kalyan as the chief guest for the film’s pre-release event.
