It is always important for actors to promote their film, no matter how small their role in a film maybe. When big actors are involved in a project, it is especially important for them to promote a film as the reach would then be higher. However, this is exactly what’s missing for Vakeel Saab now.
Shruti Haasan is a part of the upcoming Vakeel Saab. She plays the role of Pawan’s wife in the film. In the original version of Vakeel Saab, Pink, there was no heroine. However, considering Pawan’s image in Tollywood, the makers have included a separate love track for Pawan Kalyan. It is interesting to note that Shruti has not been promoting Vakeel Saab so much, despite playing an important role. She hasn’t even attended the recently conducted pre-release event.
On the other hand, Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya are rigorously promoting the film on social media and otherwise as well. Unfortunately, as Nivetha Thomas recently tested positive for Coronavirus, she couldn’t attend the pre-release event as well. It would have been good to see Shruti at the pre-release event though, as fans would have liked to see her share the stage with Pawan. Usually, Pawan Kalyan doesn’t aggressively promote his films, and the same goes for Vakeel Saab as well. Anjali, Nivetha, Ananya and Thaman have been aggressively promoting the film so far. With Nivetha now out of the picture, Shruti could save the day if she steps in. It is now to be seen if Shruti will further promote Vakeel Saab, or if she’ll continue to stay silent.
Vakeel Saab is the third collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan, after Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu. Vakeel Saab is all set to release in theatres on April 9th.
