Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan rushed to Hyderabad after finishing his public meeting in Vishakapatnam. The Allu family suffered a loss as Allu Aravind’s mother, Nagaratnamma garu, passed away early yesterday. Relatives and well-wishers gathered to offer condolences.
Pawan Kalyan, however, could not make it in time. By the time he arrived late at night, the final rites were already completed. Yet, after finishing his political commitments, he did not waste time in travelling to Hyderabad to meet the family.
This was his first visit to Allu Arjun‘s house in over a year. Last year, Allu Arjun was arrested in the Sandhya Theater Stampede Case. Industry colleagues showed support when he was released on bail, but Pawan did not visit then.
That absence fuelled talk of differences, with speculation that Pawan was upset over Allu Arjun campaigning for a YSR Congress candidate in the Assembly elections. A few days later, Pawan addressed the issue, calling for the law to apply equally to everyone.
He said the tragedy, which claimed a woman’s life, should not be politicised. He stressed that the matter was for police and courts to handle, despite family ties. He also urged stronger safety measures at public gatherings to prevent such incidents.
Now, with this personal tragedy, Pawan’s gesture of visiting Allu Arjun’s home has put rumours of a rift to rest. His visit made it clear that despite political differences, family bonds remain strong.
