Finally, after days of suspense, the Telangana government issued the official GO approving the ticket price hike for Peddi movie in Nizam.
It is known that producers were virtually split into two groups.
On one side were Dil Raju, his brother Shirish Reddy, producer Suniel Narang, exhibitors, and single-screen theater owners. On the other side stood Mythri Movie Makers and its distribution wing handling Peddi in Nizam, backed by active producers like Naga Vamsi, Sahu Garapati, Sudhakar Cherukuri, and others.
Peddi producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, a first-time producer, worked closely with Mythri Movie Makers for the film’s Nizam distribution.
Notably, Mythri’s Naveen and Ravi had faced heavy criticism from Prabhas fans during The Raja Saab release over ticket hike issues and extreme delays in opening bookings.
This time, however, they managed to pull it off in an even more difficult scenario.
Despite strong resistance and attempts to create hurdles and project Mythri as unsuccessful ahead of future distribution prospects, they successfully secured the ticket hikes.
With that cleared, everything is now set for Peddi to begin its paid premieres this evening.
