Can PK-Chiru Make It To 1000 Cr in 6 Months?

Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi box office run

Can PK-Chiru make it to the ₹1000 crore mark within six months? This question is now gaining attention among film trade circles and fans alike.

After a brief dry phase marked by consecutive disasters at the ticket counters, the mega heroes staged a decent comeback with OG and Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu. These releases helped restore confidence in their box office pull.

OG released last September and enjoyed a solid theatrical run. It was followed by Chiranjeevi’s MSG. Both films reportedly grossed around ₹300 crore each at the global box office.

Now, another mega family release is expected in a couple of months. Industry buzz suggests that Ustad Bhagat Singh is being lined up for a March release.

If this plan holds, it would mark the third mega film from the duo of Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi within a six-month span. Such a close release window is rare for stars of this scale.

Trade estimates indicate that OG and MSG together could collect close to ₹650 crore by the end of MSG’s full run. If Ustad Bhagat Singh receives strong word of mouth, it could add another ₹300 to ₹350 crore.

This means Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi may generate nearly ₹1000 crore at the global box office within six months. The period would start with OG last September and conclude with Ustaad in March this year.

Achieving a ₹1000 crore collection in such a short span would be a remarkable milestone. It would clearly signal a powerful comeback for the mega brothers at the highest level.
