Today’s new theatrical release, Raayan opened to largely mixed reviews. In particular, the talk in Telugu is not very encouraging for the Dhanush starrer which is directed by the star hero himself.
Meanwhile, there are scores of memes on social media with regard to Raayan and the majority of them have a single agenda.
Fans are requesting Dhanush to stick to acting and refrain from directing films. The complaint is that Dhanush has shined as an actor in the film but as a director, he has underwhelmed big time.
There is ground-level talk that Dhanush hasn’t picked the right storyline nor did he present it in a fully compelling manner which shows shallow directorial skills.
While the technical aspects are being lapped up by a section, the larger consensus is that Dhanush must not have directed the film and instead stuck to acting,
Well, it is mighty rare to see a star hero direct and act in his own film, Dhanush appears to have stuttered with the same.
As it appears, the only South star who can direct films and score hits is Prithviraj Sukumaran who directed Lucifer and Bro Daddy. Dhanush has tried his hand at the same and appears to have burnt it.
