The teaser for Ponniyin Selvan 1, a heavy budget film from Tamil cinema has leaked online before its scheduled release. It has surfaced on social media and is going viral.
Now, netizens are commenting that the leak is pre-planned one and the team is behind the same. “How can a teaser of a film of this scale be leaked? The makers are behind this. This could be a publicity for gimmick to attract the audience,” a section of Twitter users opine.
But it needs to be noted that no producer is so very insane to orchestrate a leak just for the sake of buzz. They’ve spent so much money on the film and it isn’t quite sane to think they are behind the tease leak.
Following the leak, the teaser has now been unveiled by the makers. The teaser is a compelling one as it is loaded with aesthetic shots. The grand and lavish scale of the film is highlighted in the teaser. Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, and others are seen in the same.
Ponniyin Selvan is up for theatrical release on the 30th of September. It is directed by Mani Ratnam.
