Actress Pooja Hegde had the worst possible start to acting career as none of the films that she had done in the early stage had worked at the box office. Then came films, like Aravinda Sametha and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo which revived her career.
But things have started to go South again for Pooja Hegde as all of her recent films have turned out to be a big disasters at the ticket counter.
After Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, almost all the films that she had done, including Radheshyam, Acharya, Beast, Retro and most recently Jana Nayagan have been bummers.
It is never that a commercial heroine requires a specific set of acting skills to sustain as this part of the job primarily includes glamour, display, and good dancing capabilities, and that’s about it. Pooja Hegde has these commercial boxes ticked alright but her luck has been going downhill.
This could pretty much be the final nail in the coffin as her South Indian carrier is pretty much done and dusted. She has also moved to Mumbai and is looking for opportunities in Bollywood, where she is prepared to do adequate glamour show.
She had the potential to be one of the big commercial actresses in South Indian cinema, considering the sculpted appearance and exceptional dance skills. It is sad to see her career goal downhill at this fag end of the proceedings.
