Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s final film Jana Nayagan directed by H Vinoth, is all set to hit the screens on July 23rd. With only a few days left until the release, pre-bookings for the film are now happening in full swing.
While everyone knows actress Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this film, many Kollywood audiences have been eagerly awaiting to witness her performance in Jana Nayagan, as the Vijay and Pooja Hegde pair had already earned a huge base for their on-screen chemistry in Beast.
In this scenario, director H Vinoth revealed in a recent interview that Pooja Hegde has little screen space in the film, which has terribly disappointed her fans.
H Vinoth stated that Pooja Hegde plays a press reporter in Jana Nayagan and does not have many scenes in the movie. He also apologized to Pooja Hegde in the interview for not giving her enough screen space.
Furthermore, he mentioned that when he initially wrote the script, she had a lot more scenes. However, due to duration constraints, he had to cut some of her portions.
In response to this revelation, many people on social media are suggesting that although Pooja Hegde played the female lead roles in Beast and Retro, neither film gave her the expected result and her acting performance went unnoticed.
They claim that when Pooja Hegde was onboarded for Jana Nayagan, everyone hoped she would at least get a breakthrough in Kollywood with Jana Nayagan. But after H Vinoth’s revelation, it is evident that she has only limited scope in the film. Therefore, they feel that nothing is working in Pooja Hegde’s favor to help her become a prominent actress in Kollywood.
Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Jana Nayagan emerges as a blockbuster success and if Pooja Hegde’s limited scenes will deliver the expected impact for her to emerge as a promising actress in the Kollywood industry upon its release.
