Pooja Hegde’s career suffered a huge setback after facing multiple disasters over the past few years. Right from Radhe Shyam to Acharya to Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan she had a string of colossal flops.
She was supposed to Guntur Kaaram, but fortunately or unfortunately she wasn’t part of that film, or else one more flop would have been registered in her resume. But after that, she was left with no biggie in hand.

However, she never lost the craze among the audience despite giving flops. She was always considered one of the top heroines in the country.
According to the latest reports, she has been signed opposite Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for a mystical thriller to be directed by Virupaksha fame Karthik Varma Dandu.

Ideally, Pooja Hegde has the stardom to be cast opposite tier-1 heroes. But all the heroes are now busy with various projects for a few years whose heroines have already been finalized. So doing a film with Chay, who himself is struggling with flops after flops, at this stage of her career seems a little bit of a downgrade for Pooja.
But she had to restart her career in the South in some or the other way. So this film doesn’t look like a bad option.

Director Karthik Dandu gave a good role and extracted a memorable performance even from a relatively new actress like Samyuktha Menon. So he is expected to make use of Pooja’s potential to the fullest.
Chay and Pooja Hegde acted in a film, Oka Laila Kosam, more than a decade back which was a flop. Chay’s career also isn’t going too well. So having a heroine like Pooja Hegde is definitely a big plus for him.
