A much-hyped film can go either way. If it’s a hit, all’s well. But if it’s a flop, then there are serious repercussions for all involved. Looks like Tollywood’s poster boy learned his lesson the hard way. For the past couple of years, he floated in the bubble of ending up being a pan-Indian sweetheart, thanks to Puri Jagannadh-Charmme venture Liger.
Now that Liger is one of the biggest flops, Vijay Devarakonda doesn’t seem to be in the mood to talk about his next project with Puri, titled Jana Gana Mana (JGM). JGM has been a pet project of Puri, and he has been trying to get the film onto the floors for a long time now. Finally, he got Vijay Devarakonda to give his nod, and a schedule was completed. Pooja Hegde is playing the heroine in the film.
However, recently, when Vijay Devarakonda was at the SIIMA award function, he dogged the question about JGM and asked the media to enjoy the show and go back home happy. As of now, the shooting of JGM has been stalled, and none of the crew is talking about it.
