Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauzi’s shoot may wrap up in the next 2 months. The team is aiming for an August 15, 2026, release. Meanwhile, Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga is still in pre-production and is expected to start shooting by the end of this month. Prabhas will join only from January 2026.

After Naatu Naatu put him on the global stage, turning director with a superstar like Prabhas would be a dream step.
There is no official confirmation yet. Reliable sources say the project is almost locked. Prabhas already has three commitments with Hombale Films. Salaar 2 is one of them. The other two are yet to be announced. There is a chance that one of those could be the Prem Rakshith film. Even if not, any major producer would be ready to back a Prabhas project.
Choreographers turning directors is not new. Lawrence, Prabhu Deva, and Amma Rajasekhar all delivered a few hits initially. If Prem Rakshith joins that list, it would not be surprising.
