The Raja Saab Kantara 2

Prabhas is currently working on his upcoming film The Raja Saab under the direction of Maruthi. This horror-comedy film features Malvika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the lead actresses, with People Media Factory backing the project with a hefty budget.

Initially, the makers planned to release the film on April 10 and had already announced the date. However, due to delays in shooting, it has become clear that the movie will not make its scheduled release. As a result, fans are left in confusion as there has been no clarity regarding the new release date.

Given the inevitable delay, fans are urging the production team to quickly announce a new release date. It seems the makers are looking for a perfect date that would allow the film to have a solo release without much competition.

With the original release date of April 10 looking unlikely, summer releases also seem out of the question. August is already crowded with biggest films like WAR 2.

The Raja Saab team is reportedly eyeing the Dussehra festival period for the release. However, this is complicated by the fact that films like Akhanda 2 are already scheduled for a September 25 release, leaving very little room for Raja Saab to slot in.

Additionally, Kantara Chapter 1 is set for an October 2 release, creating further challenges for the Raja Saab team.

Kantara sequel is one of the most awaited films of the year and the trade circles genuinely feel that it has the potential to be the biggest hit of the year, if its content connects with the audiences like the first part.

So Prabhas may be one of the biggest pan-India stars, but still, it would be foolish to clash with a film like Kantara 2 which has immense hype and potential.

Given all these factors, the team behind Raja Saab needs to make a swift decision on the release date and announce it soon to avoid further confusion.
