Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next big-budget film Spirit is scheduled to go on floors in September 2025. The film will feature Prabhas and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles.
As per the latest update, the film’s action sequences are being prepared, and the music, composed by Harshvardhan Rameshwar, is already complete. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has additionally confirmed that the film will have different schedules with filming without any break until it is released.
An insider has also claimed that Prabhas has been told by Sandeep to work on a lean physique, and the basic intention is to make Prabhas perform the stunts without the use of body doubles.
Speaking about the film, Sandeep said that his producer is safe because of Spirit since they can recover the budget with a combination of digital and satellite rights. Sandeep also added that this will depend on the response received by the teaser, trailer, and songs.
The collaboration of Sandeep and Prabhas is expected to bring a blockbuster. Both of them have delivered films that collected more than Rs. 500 crores at the box office, and they have additionally established a different kind of fan base among the Hindi audience.
Sandeep is not expected to shift from his usual style of filmmaking, except that there will be new characters and a new storyline in his film. Considering that it is an action film, audiences can expect more intensity, blood, and brutality compared to Sandeep’s last film, Animal.
Animal opened at Rs. 50 crores on the first day, despite that it was a normal Friday without any festival. While a release date for Spirit is not confirmed, it remains to be seen if it will create a new record for Sandeep to break with his upcoming films.
