After scoring a hit early in the year with Court and then seeing a slight slump, Priyadarshi is banking on his upcoming film, Premante, to get him back in form. Co-starring Anandi and featuring a surprising character by Suma Kanakala, the movie’s eagerly awaited trailer dropped today, promising a laugh riot built on situational comedy.
The plot follows Priyadarshi’s character navigating the frantic push for marriage from his parents until he finally meets Anandi. The comedy kicks in as their wildly different expectations of love fail to align, creating hilarious tension. Adding to the chaos is Suma Kanakala, who makes a cameo as a Police Constable and drops the unexpected suggestion of divorce—a definite highlight.
