There have been reports about the Telugu television industry’s battle against serials being dubbed into different languages but recently we hear that the industry faces an entirely new situation regarding the matter. We heard that several artistes, producers and technicians came together in order to win concession from channels but now that there has been a decision to bifurcate the State and people are wondering what impact it will have on the Telugu Television industry.
Hyderabad is not only a location of channels but it is also a major centre for editorial suites, shooting units, identified locations and great guesthouses for filming. Renowned TV personality Pradeep said that at least ten-fifteen years will be required to set up a new centre. It is expected that people will start migrating to other places like Chennai just like earlier.
