Audiences have been eagerly waiting for certain sequels that were planned a long time ago. One of them was Joker: Folie A Deux, which arrived after a long wait, except that it did not face any delay because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Released on October 2, 2024, the sequel to Joker was expected to receive highly positive feedback. However, the initial public reactions have now disclosed that the it is not up to the mark, with people claiming that the first film was comparatively better.

Joker: Folie A Deux was one of the most-awaited films of this year and viewers have now termed it as a boring film. But it is Joaquin Phoenix’s performance that has only received praise and the overall screenplay has received a negative response.
While DC films have always managed to attract all types of viewers, people have stated that Joker 2 is made only for the high-class audience. A section of the public even requested those who have not seen the film to not believe if someone calls the sequel a masterpiece.

The film was also in the headlines after the casting of Lady Gaga as one of the leads. The worst thing is that even Gaga’s appearance in the film has not made any great impact, as claimed in the reactions.
There have been other sequels in the last three years that have failed at the box office. Considering the reviews that are coming in, it seems like Joker 2 is going to have a tough time recovering the money that has been invested.
