Needless to say, Pushpa 2 is one of the anticipated pan-Indian theatrical outings from Telugu cinema. The film took well over a year to commence the shoot after the first part and just as things looked on track, there is a disaster in the form of the arrest of actor Jagadeesh who plays Allu Arjun’s sidekick in the film.
This Jagadeesh was arrested in a police case recently after he allegedly blackmailed a junior artist with sensitive photos which eventually led to the actress committing suicide. This is a serious offense and Jagadeesh is currently in jail.
On the other hand, the shooting of Pushpa 2 might get tampered with by this man in jail. The issue is that the story is narrated from this character’s viewpoint and hence Jagadeesh is very important for the shooting.
It is heard that the unit is seeing options of bringing Jagadeesh out on bail for shooting purposes but the nature of the offense is such that getting bail is touch. Sukumar is in a tight spot now as he has to deal with this unusual and peculiar problem. This is one of the worst possible reasons for a film like Pushpa 2 to get delayed.
