While it was earlier expected that Pushpa 2 would breeze through and overtake Jawan’s ₹65 Cr. opening day collection due to Allu Arjun’s star power and the massive hype around the sequel, it now seems much more difficult.

Although the response to the trailer of the film has been good, it did not live up to its expectations, failing to create a compulsion among people to book their tickets instantly.

Early ticket sales in the US tell the same story where the film is performing strongly, but falling short of the massive standards people would expect from it.

A poll conducted by a prominent trade analyst on social media shows that 60-70% of people believe that the Pushpa 2 might manage to cross SRK’s Jawan.

The other 30-40% of the public seems to think that the film would fail to cross Jawan’s Day 1 collections, owing to the response to its trailer.

The hype around Pushpa 2 had put hopes into people that the film would be the next Baahubali 2, creating a total rampage at the BO, which seems much tougher now.

The film may cross the ₹50 Cr. mark on Day 1, with Jawan’s ₹65 Cr. still looking achievable, but a tougher possibility.

Fans around the globe are waiting eagerly, as the film gears up to hit the theatres on 5th December 2024.
