Pushpa 2 is doing well in Tamil Nadu. It has minted ₹66.5 crore in 12 days and is likely to reach ₹80 crore. Though these are respectable numbers, they are still lower than what other much-awaited sequels like Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 have managed to garner.
Pushpa 2 has already collected ₹66.5 crore in Tamil Nadu and is looking to breach ₹80 crore. The movie, although collecting decent numbers, still has a lot to achieve since it cannot go even anywhere close to Baahubali 2’s ₹150 crore or KGF 2’s ₹110 crore. While ₹ 80 crore is a nice amount in Tamil Nadu, it is way below the overall all-time highest in the state, where Baahubali 2 minted ₹150 crore. KGF 2 has collected more than ₹110 crore at the same time despite tremendous competition from other films, so Pushpa 2’s performance comes nowhere near such numbers.
