Queen establishes top position in 60th Filmfare

kangana ranaut queen movieThe 60th Filmfare Award function for the films released in the year 2014 for Bollywood films had been a grand affair but the ‘Queen’ who established her top position bagging the maximum number of awards (six) was conspicuosly absent. Kangana Ranaut bagged the Best Actress Female Award for her excellent performance in ‘Queen’.

‘Queen’ won awards in Best Film, Best Director, Best BGM, Best Editing and Best Cinematographer categories besides Best Actress award. The next film which won second highest number of awards is ‘Haider’ bagging five awards. Shahid Kapoor won the Best Actor Male Award for ‘Haider’. For the same film, our Tabu and Key Key Menon won Best Actors in supporting roles.

Like Aamir Khan, Kangana too never believes in the system of choosing the awards and never attended an award function. And this time though it is herself who won the Best Actress Award, it didn’t make any difference for the actress who consciously missed attending the function.
