Seems ‘Baahubali’ did that bit of inspiration for films to be made out of mammoth budgets on historical characters and biopics. The next superstar to play a historical character might be our superstar Rajnikanth. Reportedly the biopic would be on Tiger of Mysore, Tipu Sultan, the ruler of Mysore.

Who is going to make the film and did the superstar give his nod to play Tipu Sultan, one of the greatest rulers of our country during the Independence-Struggle era? Ashok Kheny, one of the MLAs of Karnataka is keen on roping in Rajnikanth to play Tipu Sultan in the biopic and wants to make the film on huge budget.
Coming to Rajnikanth, the MLA didn’t approach the superstar yet, but confident that he is going to soon meet the superstar and discuss the project with him.
