Ramayan is one of the Bollywood dreamy projects that is always in the news but never takes off. We hear reports that Mahesh Babu, Hrithik Roshan, Yash, and several stars a part of the project but the issue is that the shooting never commences. This has been going on for a good 2 years now.
Coming to the topic, there are new reports that the filming of Ramayan is set to commence in March 2024. It is reliably reported that Ranbir Kapoor will play lord Ram in the film and it will have Yash and Sai Pallavi in the roles of Ravan and Sita respectively.
An Oscar-winning VFX company is working on the visual aspects of the film, say reports. Ranbir is to undergo training for the VFX shots in the film and he will go to Los Angeles early next year to work closely with the VFX company, it seems. He will join the shoot in July according to the buzz.
While all these reports about the casting and the commencement of the shoot are good to hear, there is no real affirmative update from the makers of the project.
