The excitement surrounding Ramayana has hit a brief pause. The much-awaited Trailer of Ramayana which was supposed to be release today, has been postponed. The trailer was expected to showcase the film’s scale, visual effects, and the lead characters in detail. The sudden postponement has turned as a big disappointment for fans who were eagerly waiting for the first full glimpse of the epic.
Taking social media handles as platform the producer announced the news. He wrote, “Today is a very special moment for our Ramayana. My dream of taking Ramayana to the world is now a reality with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment.” He continued, “In light of the above, we will be launching our trailer globally at a later date.”
Although reports circulating on social media, the postponement may be linked to the ongoing students’ protests in parts of the country. However, there has been no official confirmation from the film’s team that the protests are the reason for delaying the trailer launch.
While delays in promotional campaigns are not uncommon for big-budget productions, they often raise expectations even further. In the case of Ramayana, the anticipation was already sky-high, and this unexpected postponement has only added to the curiosity.
