Once again, Ramya Krishna is getting ready to play the role of ‘Shivagami’, the role that has got her immense acclaim and popularity across the country. It’s not the same Sivagami role she had essayed as Mahishmati’s Rajamaatha in Baahubali but a 9th century queen.

It’s a Kannada movie titled ‘Shivagami’ and quite obviously, the actress is going to play the titular role. This looks really interesting as the actress has got two different period drama characters with the same name. Being the namesake of Mahishmati’s Sivagami would be the only similarity.
Ramya Krishna’s presence and the popular title will help the film big way. One has to see if Ramya’s characterization and behavior traits as ‘Shivagami’ matches with Rajamouli’s favourite character. This Kannada movie is written and directed by Kannada director Madhu.
