After ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’, audiences are waiting to see Rana in the period drama ‘1945’ which is set in the backdrop of pre-partition. Rana is playing a soldier in Azad Hind Fauj founded by Subhash Chandra Bose.

While this project is interesting and exciting, there is a buzz that Rana may be part of the project to be directed by acclaimed director Bala. The director is known for his school of film-making and he is presently busy with the pre-production works of ‘Arjun Reddy‘ remake ‘Varma’ in Tamil.
However, there is no official confirmation on the same. Meanwhile, Rana is busy with the shooting of ‘1945’ and Bala is completing his ‘Naachiyaar’. The combination will turn one of the craziest one as Bala is known for revolutionizing Tamil Cinema.
