“Yes, I’m on board for Blockbuster remake”

When there had been flying rumours on who will reprise the title role Charlie in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Charlie’, actor Madhavan’s name was on the top of all the heroes for playing the role.

Madhavan himself agrees saying, “Yes, I’m on board for blockbuster remake”. The producers of the remake say that Madhavan was their original choice and only choice for the remake. They feel that Madhavan would be suitable for such a breezy romantic movie. The heroine is yet to be finalised.

‘Charlie’ was critically acclaimed for the performances of its lead actors Dulquer Salman and Parvathy Menon. Even common audiences liked the movie and hence it won popular acclaim too along with winning Kerala State awards.
