A new creative journey has begun for Energetic Star Ram Pothineni. Produced by Krishna Pothineni under Rapo Cinematics, the film marks Ram’s first outing as both writer and director. Mounted on a massive canvas, his passion project, #RAPO23, is being crafted on a big canvas with a big budget.
#RAPO23 was officially launched today in the presence of the film’s team through a majestic pooja ceremony. The auspicious event began with producer Krishna Pothineni presenting the script to Ram Pothineni. The first ceremonial shot, was initiated by P Murali Mohan, who switched on the camera, while PV Ravi Kishore sounded the clapboard. Ram Pothineni himself called the shots for the inaugural shot.
The project has already entered the production stage, with regular shooting commencing today. With this the epic journey begins, with a mission to deliver a bigger than ever ride.
Blending psychological drama with high-octane action in a neo-noir setting, the film seeks to present audiences with a story unlike anything seen before. Ram has taken complete creative ownership by writing, directing, and headlining the film.
The makers are currently finalising a strong lineup of popular actors who will be seen in pivotal roles. The technical department is equally formidable. National Award-winning technician Thirunavukarasu will handle the cinematography and eminent stunt choreographer Peter Hein takes care of action blocks.
